And it's always fun to express individuality and character and this would be a cool way to create a unique space for each guild to congregate and do pretty much whatever that wanna do.Īlso these starships would be in fixed positions (maybe just added to the area of space in the fleet to make the fleet a lot more impressive) because otherwise it would be really difficult to incorporate this idea and still have it be convenient to the players (and it would also be easier to design and animate).Īnyway that's about it, feel free to critique (politely please)/add stuff, and to voice your opinions of whether or not you think it's a cool idea/ something you would like to see happen thx! This idea could also lead to the addition of trophy items and furniture into the game so that each guild could decorate their own starship to represent THEIR guild and the adventures and ordeals they have been through together. Obviously this Guild Starship would have to be somewhat expensive (several million credits at least) because it wouldn't make sense for really small guilds to have access to their own enormous starship. It would be really nice to have a place to just hang out with members of the guild and to be able to gather for group raids Or exchange items without having to deal with the mass of people usually on the Fleet.

I think that it would be really awesome if Guild leaders could purchase a large starship (battle cruiser/ destroyer, etc) that would serve as the SWTOR equivalent to a Kinship House. The house served as a spot for members to meet up quickly and gather for a group quest or raid, as well as a place to exchange goods and crafting services.

The kinship house would be filled with items gathered from the various adventures that the members had done(usually from quests completed with other members of the kinship).

The leaders of each kinship are able to purchase a Kinship House, a building where they could all store items, gather to goof off, and just hang out. I used to play Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO) and in that game the equivalent to a Guild is called a Kinship. Ok, so I don't know if this or something like it has already been talked about, but my idea is pretty simple, and personally I think it would be really cool to see it happen.
